IPL season 12 schedule for the first two weeks of the upcoming season has been released. The dates could be revised following the schedule of the Lok Sabha polls.
IPL 2019 schedule for the first two weeks of the 2019 season has been announced but it will be further assessed when the Lok Sabha polling schedule is released. As per the schedule released on Tuesday (February 19), the season gets underway on March 23 with defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) hosting Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in Chennai.
The announcement discharged stated, “IPL discharges the calendar of the initial two weeks (17 matches) of the VIVO IPL 2019 Season. These are as yet subject to the declaration of the Lok Sabha 2019 race dates. Once these have been discharged BCCI will address any issues with the initial two weeks and will likewise set up a calendar for the rest of the period working with the neighborhood experts around the surveying dates.”

The present calendar sees 17 coordinates over the fortnight time frame with 8 settings of the eight establishments. Delhi Capitals and Royal Challenges will play five matches amid this period with the rest playing four each. All groups will play least of two home and away diversions while DC and RCB will be at home at Feroz Shah Kotla and M Chinnaswamy thrice individually.
“A sum of 17 matches will be played amid this 2 weeks time span over the 8 home settings of the separate establishments. All groups will play least of 4 matches with DC and RCB playing 5 matches. Each group will play least of 2 home and 2 away matches with DC playing 3 home matches, while RCB will play 3 away matches,” included the announcement.
